Respekt & Umgangsformen

• Dress modestly outside resorts: shoulders and knees covered. Women cover their hair in mosques.
• Tipping (baksheesh) is part of daily life: keep small notes.
• Ask before taking photos of people, and never photograph military or police sites.
• Agree on the price before a taxi, a camel ride or a guide.
• During Ramadan, avoid eating, drinking or smoking in public during the day.
• Drones need a permit: don't bring one without it.
