Respect & manners

  • Fill in the Cambodia e-Arrival form and get your e-Visa only on official websites.
  • At Angkor, cover shoulders and knees: you can be refused at some temples.
  • Take your shoes off in homes and pagodas. Women must not touch monks.
  • Don't touch people's heads or point your feet at people or Buddha images.
  • Be respectful at Tuol Sleng and the Killing Fields: quiet, no selfies.
  • Landmines and unexploded ordnance remain in some rural areas: stay on marked paths.
