Travelling with pets

• Hong Kong needs a special permit; depending on where your pet comes from, quarantine may be required.
• Airlines have their own rules (cabin pets usually under about 8 kg with the bag, snub-nosed breeds often refused in the hold): book your pet's place early.
• Check the rules to come back home too: they can be stricter than for leaving.
