Health & vaccines
- No vaccine is required to enter: just make sure your routine vaccines are up to date. A yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required if you arrive from a country at risk: check the official rules.
- Tap water is generally safe in towns; in remote areas, ask locally.
- Malaria exists in the north (Etosha, Caprivi/Zambezi): ask a travel clinic about prevention.
- The desert is very hot by day and cold at night: carry lots of water.
- Travel insurance with medical evacuation is strongly recommended.
These rules change and depend on your situation: always check with the official sources and your embassy before you leave. GoZzzy gives general information and cannot be held responsible.
