Travelling with pets

• Singapore needs an import licence; the rules (and any quarantine) depend on the country you come from.
• Airlines have their own rules (cabin pets usually under about 8 kg with the bag, snub-nosed breeds often refused in the hold): book your pet's place early.
• Heat can be dangerous for pets: avoid walks in the middle of the day, and never leave them in a car.
• Check the rules to come back home too: they can be stricter than for leaving.
