Travelling with pets

• Taiwan asks for a rabies antibody test and a waiting period before travel, plus several days of quarantine on arrival.
• Airlines have their own rules (cabin pets usually under about 8 kg with the bag, snub-nosed breeds often refused in the hold): book your pet's place early.
• Check the rules to come back home too: they can be stricter than for leaving.
