Health & vaccines

No vaccine is required to enter: just make sure your routine vaccines are up to date.
Don't drink tap water: drink bottled or filtered water, and avoid ice of unknown origin.
Altitude: the Pamirs are over 4,000 m, go up slowly.
Travel insurance with medical evacuation is strongly recommended.
