LGBTQIA+

Rights protected

• Same-sex marriage is legal, and the law protects against discrimination.
• Attitudes can be more conservative in rural areas than in big cities.
• Holding hands or kissing in public is generally fine, as for any couple.
• Trans and non-binary travellers: the gender marker on your passport is what counts at border checks; carry supporting documents if your appearance has changed.

These rules change and depend on your situation: always check with the official sources and your embassy before you leave. GoZzzy gives general information and cannot be held responsible.
