Health & vaccines

• No vaccine is required to enter: just make sure your routine vaccines are up to date.
• Tap water is safe to drink. (unless a local "boil water" notice says otherwise).
• Healthcare is excellent but extremely expensive: travel insurance with high medical cover is essential.
• Urgent care clinics treat minor problems faster and cheaper than hospital emergency rooms.
• In national parks and deserts, carry plenty of water: heat and distances are serious.
