Health & vaccines

• No vaccine is required to enter: just make sure your routine vaccines are up to date.
• Don't drink tap water: drink bottled or filtered water, and avoid ice of unknown origin.
• Summers are very hot: drink a lot, especially in Khiva and Bukhara.
• Some medicines (with codeine, psychotropics) are restricted: carry prescriptions.
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
