• A yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required if you arrive from a country at risk: check the official rules.
• See a travel clinic 4 to 6 weeks before you leave: some vaccines are often recommended.
• Tap water is treated, but most people drink filtered or bottled water: do the same.
• Dengue is common: use mosquito repellent.
