• Fill in the SG Arrival Card online before you arrive (free on the official site).
• Rules are strict and fines are high: no littering, no chewing gum, no eating or drinking on the MRT, no smoking outside marked areas.

• Queue patiently and stand on the left on escalators.
• Tipping is not expected: a service charge is often included.
