Afghanistan
Afghanistan is in a severe security and humanitarian crisis. Most governments advise against all travel.
Warning: this country is in open conflict
Most governments advise against all travel. If you still have to go, be extremely careful: follow your government's official travel advice, register with your embassy, and keep emergency contacts with you at all times.

Health & vaccines
- See a travel clinic 4 to 6 weeks before you leave: some vaccines are often recommended.
- Don't drink tap water: drink bottled or filtered water, and avoid ice of unknown origin.
- Hospitals and pharmacies may be damaged, overwhelmed or short of medicines: bring everything you need, with prescriptions.
- Malaria exists in some areas: ask a travel clinic about prevention.
- Rabies exists: avoid stray dogs, cats and monkeys. If bitten or scratched, see a doctor the same day.
- Many travel insurances do not cover countries their government advises against: check your contract before you go.
These rules change and depend on your situation: always check with the official sources and your embassy before you leave. GoZzzy gives general information and cannot be held responsible.
