• Don't drink tap water: drink bottled or filtered water, and avoid ice of unknown origin.
• Dengue is present: use mosquito repellent, day and night.
• Medicines are often in short supply: bring everything you need, plus a small first-aid kit.
• Travel insurance with medical cover is required to enter Cuba.
