Respect & manners

• Fill in the D'Viajeros form online before you fly, and check whether you need a tourist card.
• Bring enough cash (euros are easy to change); many foreign cards don't work, especially US cards.
• Power and internet cuts are common: keep a torch and offline maps.
• Avoid political discussions in public.
• Tipping is a big help for locals: about 10% in restaurants.
• Never photograph police or military sites.
