• Visit Dubrovnik and Split early in the morning or off-season to avoid the cruise crowds.
• In Plitvice and Krka parks, stay on the boardwalks and never swim where it is forbidden.
• Use ferries and buses between islands and cities.
• Don't anchor on seagrass meadows, and never touch sea urchins or coral.
• Leave beaches clean.
