Saúde e vacinas

• No vaccine is required to enter Japan: just make sure your routine vaccines are up to date.
• Tap water is safe to drink everywhere.
• Medical care is excellent but expensive: travel insurance is strongly recommended.
• Some common medicines are restricted or banned in Japan (for example some cold medicines containing pseudoephedrine, and stimulant ADHD medicines): check the official rules before you pack.
• Summers are very hot and humid: drink often and watch out for heatstroke.
