Respect & manners

• Apply for your e-Visa only on the official government website.
• Greet with "namaste", palms together.
• Take your shoes off in temples and homes. Cover shoulders and knees in religious places; some ask you to cover your head.
• Use your right hand to eat and to give or receive.
• Ask before taking photos of people and inside temples.
• Public displays of affection are frowned upon. Cows are sacred: let them pass.
